Lowering Cholesterol with BioActive Protein
BioActive Protein helps lower LDL cholesterol

BioActive Protein Lowers Cholesterol
A recent study found that men and women with moderately high cholesterol, 210 to 270 total count, had a 6% drop in total cholesterol after just three weeks of taking an immunoglobulin supplement. More importantly, LDL cholesterol, or the “bad” cholesterol most closely associated with heart disease, decreased by 7% while HDL, the “good” cholesterol, remained constant.
How much of the BioActive Protein do I need to take in Protein Extreme Energy to take to replicate these effects?
Over the course of the study, participants took the equivalent of 2 servings daily just 74% of the time, suggesting even greater benefit with full compliance.
How soon should I see the benefits?
Within one month.
Where can I see that study?
It was published in the April issue of the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition (2005 81 (4) p 792). The results are based on a six-week study, conducted by the Dallas, TX-based Cooper Institute.
Are there any other studies?
Because this is a relatively recent discovery, there have yet to be more studies conducted on this topic. However, two studies in the 1990s showed milk from immunized cows had higher immunoglobulin content than did milk from non- immunized cows, and appeared to lower cholesterol in those who drank it. The researchers surmised that the immunoglobulin, also the main ingredient of Protein Extreme Energy, was responsible for the effect.
